Highlights
- Follow-up to cooperation through maintenance contract
- Frequency inverters from Vacon
- Practical implementation thanks to use of existing cabling and terminal blocks
- Additional solution for additional cooling Vacon controllers
The Buma pumping station, one of the pumping stations that keep the Noordoostpolder dry, is ready for the future again thanks to new variable speed drives. Electroproject carried out the order from the Zuiderzeeland water board in a smart and cost-effective way.
Electroproject's approach was distinguished by practical solutions. The existing cabling could remain intact and the terminal block for the power supply and motors also kept their place. This allowed Electroproject to connect the new cabinets to the same terminals at exactly the same height. ENGIE Electroproject concluded the project by setting the variable speed drives to the correct speeds. The water board did not have to worry about it after that.
